AUSTIN — Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller is pleased to honor Coltin Walton, a sophomore from Magnolia High School in Magnolia, Texas, as the winner of the Texas Department of Agriculture’s monthly GROW award. The award Gives Recognition for Outstanding Work to middle and high school students who demonstrate leadership and excellence inside and outside the classroom.
Magnolia, Texas (November 7, 2016) – Magnolia ISD has added a new communications tool called Anonymous Alerts® at our junior high and high school campuses, allowing our students and parents to quickly, easily, and anonymously report urgent information to school officials. The system empowers students to report bullying, drug use or other personal safety concerns through private messages sent on their mobile and computer Internet-enabled devices.
Registration for AP Exams for Spring 2017 has begun. MHS students may choose to take an AP Exam(s) in a variety of subject areas. It is recommended that students talk with their subject area teacher(s) for information about additional studies needed. Students can pick up the AP Exam Registration forms in Office 1301. All registration forms and exam fees are due November 18, 2016 by 3pm and exams cost $35.00 each. (Click for more information.)
Fish Bowl for BBJH 8th graders and parents will be held November 30 at 6:30 p.m. Information includes course selections for the 9th grade year, HB5, and special programs. Students and parents will have the opportunity to visit booths for the various clubs, classes and organizations at MHS.
