NHS Acceptance Requirements - Magnolia High School

Advisers: Mrs. Mizar and Mrs. Cantu

Academic Excellence
- Minimum 4.50 weighted GPA (checked mid-February)
- Consistent performance in advanced/honors courses
Leadership
- Active involvement in clubs, sports, or organizations
- Demonstrated leadership roles (e.g., officer, captain)
Service
- Participation in volunteer work or community service
- Ongoing commitment to helping others
Character
- Strong integrity, responsibility, and respect
Overall Evaluation
- Selection is based on a combination of all the above criteria, not GPA alone
- Invitation will be sent mid/late February
- Junior/Senior membership only
