PSAT TEST DATE
Wednesday, October 16, 2019
Students taking the test should report to the testing room at the start of first period. (7:15 a.m.) Testing room assignments will be posted and located on the cafeteria bulletin boards.
Free - Sophomores Only
All MHS sophomores are required to take the test and therefore will not need to register.
$17 - Freshmen, Juniors, and Seniors
Freshmen and Juniors who wish to take the test, need to sign up and register in Office 1500 during A lunch, B Lunch or A Block. Students may pay by cash or check (make payable to Magnolia ISD).

STUDENTS CAN REGISTER STARTING AUGUST 26TH THROUGH SEPTEMBER 18TH.
Students with Accommodations: **If you receive testing accommodations in your courses and would like to apply to College Board to request for permission to use them on the PSAT, you must make a request and get all necessary documentation to Mrs. Ray NO LATER THAN 3 PM ON AUGUST 26TH to meet College Board's deadline. Approval to use these accommodations is determined by College Board.

You will be allowed to have only these items on your desk:
- A test book & an answer sheet
- 2 pencils with erasers
- An Acceptable Calculator (See below) or click this link HERE. — during one of the math sections only
National Merit Scholarship Program
The PSAT/NMSQT is the official route of entry to the National Merit® Scholarship Program.
HOME SCHOOL TESTING
On the actual day of testing, your child will need to report to MHS no later than 7:20 a.m. and check in at the front office. The testing assignments will be posted in the cafeteria and your child will report directly to the testing room. Please be sure to provide a picture ID to the test administrator as well.
What to Bring on Test Day
- Two No. 2 pencils with erasers
- An approved calculator
- Email address (optional)
- Valid government-issued photo ID. If unavailable, students can use a notarized College Board Student ID Form
