Welcome to Magnolia High School for the 2017-2018 school year!
I've lived in Houston all my life and graduated from Stratford High School (Go Spartans:)). I then moved to Waco and spent 4 wonderful years at Baylor University (SIC'EM). I majored in Political Science and was lucky to receive internships with local criminal lawyers and the McLennan County DA's Office while at Baylor. After graduation, I went to law school for 2 years at Texas Wesleyan before deciding to become a teacher. While in law school, I spent two summers working for the Harris County DA's Office. I received my alternative certification in 2011 and began my teaching career at Cy Creek High School in Cy Fair ISD. I taught at Cy Creek for 2 years teaching World Geography and AP Human Geography. 2013 was my first year at The Magnolia High School and I love it! I am currently working on a Master's in Political Science from Sam Houston University.
My husband and I recently moved to Magnolia and love the area! We have a 3 year old, Archer, and Theo who is 6 months old, we also have two dogs, Judge and Belle. This year I will be teaching  AP Macroeconomics (5 years), Economics (3 years) and Government (3 years). I am so excited to be back at TMS and to meet my new students!
