Students seeking a recommendation letter must notify the teacher they wish to write the letter. Be sure this teacher knows you! Provide the teacher with a resume of your activities and accomplishments so the letter can show who you really are and not just your GPA and rank. If you need help, use the Brag Sheet (located at the bottom of the page), either one will provide the person writing your letter of recommendation information to make the letter appealing to colleges and scholarship committees.
Request the teacher(s) to write the letter and deliver a copy of the request below to the teacher with at least TWO weeks notice.
Students applying to colleges using the Common App will automatically have their letters sent in with their application. Other students can come by to receive their letters as needed.
**Please do not wait until the last minute to request letters. Some teachers may not be able to accommodate last minute requests.
